With the intention of improving the quality of life for residents and visitors, Manatee County has plans for two more interchanges with I-75 on State Road 64 and State Road 70. Construction on 64 is projected to begin summer of 2017, lasting 28 months. State Road 70's construction will now begin in 2018 and last 30 months, having moved up from 2021. The interchanges will offer wider ramps, new bike lanes, and new sidewalks.
