SUNDAY NOVEMBER 7TH 10 AM TILL 2 PM | EXPLORE GRANADA NEIGHBORHOOD’S ARCHITECTURAL TREASURE on our Walking Tour
Bonita Park, Corner of Fortuna and Camino Real 1700 Fortuna Street
Join the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation on November 7th for a one-hour guided walking tour of Granada, one of Sarasota's most historically significant neighborhoods. Each one-hour tour will begin at Granada's Landmark Granada Fountain in Bonita Park, at the corner of Fortuna and Camino Real. Your guide will share fascinating glimpses into the architectural styles beginning in the 1920s when builders began combining Spanish features with those of Mediterranean villas and palaces to promote Sarasota as an exotic location. On-street parking is available in the Granada neighborhood. To avoid congestion and enhance pedestrian safety we ask that you park along with Polonia Court or on Camino Real south of Fortuna Street.
