Enjoy an evening of old and new music while learning country line dances by international choreographer Landon Purvis. It is recommended that you wear closed-toed shoes or boots with rubber soles. Water, beer, and wine will be available to purchase at The Nest!
Saturday, March 4th, 8:30am | Ride and Paddle at The Bay | The Bay Park Conservancy | 1055 Boulevard of the Arts
Take a free two-hour tour through The Bay’s restored mangroves and to the north and south end of the park led by experienced guides while you explore and learn. Kayaks and life jackets are provided, and this tour is recommended for anyone 12 years and older.
Saturday, March 4th, 10:30am | LEGO Design Workshop | McCulloch Pavilion | 265 S Orange Avenue
Led by a local architect, this interactive design workshop uses LEGOs to learn about the built environment, our community’s urban fabric, and how small parts can come together to transform space! This is for ages 5 to 15, and each kid must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday, March 5th, 1pm | Sunday Polo: Continental Cup | Sarasota Polo Club | 8201 Polo Club Lane
Spend a beautiful Sunday outdoors watching the fastest game on four feet! Gates open at 10am with the feature match starting at 1pm. No outside food or beverage is allowed, however, you may enjoy multiple bars on site as well as Tailgate Food Tray options to have party trays, snacks, or bottle beverage services dropped off at your seating area.
Sunday, March 5th, 9am | Sarasota Beach Clean-up | Tunaskin | 17 S. Boulevard of the Presidents
Join the fun for the 4th Annual Tunaskin Beach Keepers Club Clean-up in Sarasota! Registration is $25 with a portion of proceeds going to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and includes a t-shirt for you to wear and keep. Bags and gloves will be provided at check-in, but you are welcome to bring pickers and buckets to assist in your clean-up efforts. There will be an after-party with food, refreshments, and raffles!
