March 17, 2018: Register to volunteer for the 2018 Great American Cleanup and Keep Sarasota County Beautiful. Cleanup projects take place at various locations throughout Sarasota County. Pre-event registration is required. The first 600 volunteers who register, will qualify for First Option Access to this year’s commemorative t-shirts. March 17, 2018: Street Party in honor of St. Patrick’s Day: “ Main Street Live!” takes place on Historic Old Main Street in Bradenton from 5 p.m. -12 a.m. The event features live music with Kim Betts & Gamble Creek Band, food and beverage vendors and more. Street closes traffic at about 3 p.m. Old Main Street, Downtown Bradenton.
March 17, 2018: The Shamrock Pub hosts its 10th annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party! The pub opens at 9 a.m. and music at the alley stage starts at noon. March 18, 2018: Anna Maria Island- The Beach Bistro’s annual St Patrick’s Day Parade! The parade will gather at 2 p.m. in the parking lot on the south side of Eat Here at 5315 Gulf Drive. At 4 p.m. the parade will commence and proceed north on Marina Drive and then Palm Drive to its conclusion at 78th Street and Palm Drive. All are welcome to join parade or watch.
