While the housing market typically has a seasonal slow down, this year is proving to have just the opposite. The economy is improving and will continue to improve in 2017 which will lead to even lower unemployment and higher consumer confidence. Among those expected to play a big part in driving sales the next couple of years are millennials and retiring baby boomers. These two demographics will power an above-average demand for homes for at least the next 10 years. Additionally, foreclosure inventory dropped 31 percent and completed foreclosures dropped 7 percent the past year.
