June 9, 2018: Take part in the 2nd Annual World Oceans Day Festival, a fun, family friendly event celebrating our salty waters. A variety of ocean themed activities will be available for participants to learn about World Oceans Day. Dip nets into the water and discover the creatures beneath the waves. Learn amazing facts about our large wildlife—like sea turtles. Build oyster mats and explore the history of fishing in Manatee County. June 9 - 10, 2018: The 17th annual St. Armand's Craft Festival is held around circle park. You may view and purchase all kinds of artistic works from over 175 artisans with everything from paintings to jewelry, ceramics, pottery and much more. It's a fun event to stroll along through and look at all the uniquely creative ideas on display. St. Armand's Circle is just over the Ringling Bridge from downtown Sarasota. It's free and there's lots of free parking too. It's from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days.

June 10, 2018: It's Sharky's Sunset Beach Bash to celebrate being voted #1 on a list of Top Florida Beach Bars. The celebration will include free drink samples, food and drink specials, and much more fun. The event will also feature live music. Tickets are $5 and proceeds will be donated to Venice Area Beautification Inc. and Mote Marine Laboratory. 5 p.m. - Sunset. Sharky’s on the Pier, 1600 Harbor Drive South in Venice, FL.
